WP1 provides insights into current results, developments and concepts in bioeconomy research and on the policy level. This forms the basis for the adaptation of reliable content that will be explored and validated by the consortium members and the multi-stakeholder hubs for training and open dialog. To support the participatory activities of BLOOM, WP1 compiles a report on the user needs, barriers, supporting factors, as well as compiles a catalogue for innovative outreach activities fostering open dialog formats.

D1.2 - Communication framework, targeting awareness, education and training and network extension
D1.3 - Compilation of stakeholder targeted materials – first version

In WP2 a platform is elaborated, providing a repository for materials developed within the project BLOOM. There will also be an online bioeconomy debate and dialogue zone fostering dialogue by the communities and outreach by supporting a community of practice including the embedding of social media channels. Furthermore WP2 provides bioeconomy information available for public via Wikipedia by creating and updating existing bioeconomy related sites.

Five regional hubs are established that involve stakeholders of the specific regions. In co-creation workshops those multi-stakeholder groups will collaboratively develop innovative bioeconomy outreach activities and materials; which the BLOOM hub leaders will subsequently implement. The hub processes are supported by specific guidelines on stakeholder mapping strategies, guidelines on co-creation and engagement methods, and by exchanging the experiences and results of all hubs (cross-fertilisation meetings).

D3.3 - Guidebook
D3.4 - Innovative Open Dialogue Format trainings and Webinars
D3.5 - Report on innovative Outreach and Awareness Activitie

WP4 is specifically addressing young EU citizens. Within WP4 specific bioeconomy learning materials or curricula adapted to different age groups are elaborated. Further teacher trainings, which are performed by school ambassadors, will be applied to gain broader outreach in formal education. This WP goes hand in hand with WP3.

WP5 is in charge of the evaluation of the BLOOM project, its activities and its impact. Monitoring and evaluation is supporting the internal learning process among consortium partners, it improves the approaches and procedures in order to achieve optimized results and measuring the effectiveness of the BLOOM actions and the impact on the civil society within the regional hubs, the school network and the virtual platform. WP5 provides all instruments needed by the partners to conduct their evaluations.

WP6 deals with the promotion of the BLOOM project and most importantly will drag the results and outputs of the regional hubs to a further level of awareness and knowledge raising. Therefore the dissemination will be conducted along several channels: beyond the classical dissemination channels like project website, radio and TV as well as social media dissemination, events participation and the substantial channels of the partners will be used to spread the results, leading to an even broader awareness and followers.

WP7 deals with the management and coordination of the BLOOM project. It ensures that the results and processes of the project are delivered on time, at budget and with the quality stipulated. WP 8 provides guidelines on ethical standards applied in the project BLOOM. The consortium will actively work with people, involve different target groups, carry out interviews and hold workshops and outreach activities. Complying with ethical standards is indispensable when it comes to working with people and collecting opinions and personal data of participants.
